Hello, my name is Maritza Villalpando. I am originally from Medellin, Colombia and I have always loved art work, pottery, and design.

I originally studied interior design in Colombia, but I have taken many pottery classes as well before that. I was using ceramic clay in my pottery classes, but I began using polymer clay in my spare time to make fruit decorations and dolls, then I expanded my work to jewelry. I learn through artists’ magazines or by just looking up different designs online. I also began getting into the abstract drawings of zentangle, which is very tedious work. I just have a passion for art and I love learning new things!
